With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred Frances (Edwards) Dorsey of Carrollton, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry R. Edwards and Margaret Frances Edwards (Buehler); her husband Herman Eugene Dorsey; and her brothers, Albert Eugene and Leonard Allen Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Hancock (Rich) of Grain Valley; her grandchildren, Jenny Baker (Dave) of Grain Valley, Rob Bray of Kansas City and Kristen McDaniel (Henry) of Kansas City; her great grandchildren, Thomas Baker (Abrey) of Raymore, Felix Baker of Grain Valley, Collin Bray and Cayley Bray of Blue Springs; her great great grandchildren, Holden, Lilly and Margot Baker of Raymore; and her sister-in-law Shirley Edwards. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Carrollton United Methodist Church or Ebenezer Cemetery.
