He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Fritzie Gottschalk; his former husband Jeffrey Bladdick; his granddaughter Sarah; his siblings-in-law, Dempsey Gottschalk (Sharon) and Laura Forquer; his friend Mary Baker; his sister-in-law Patricia Hawkins; and also William L. Hawkins of Eden Prairie, MN. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Place of Rest will be in Cannon Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.Pallbearers: Jeffrey Bladdick, Jacob Bladdick, Clint Whitney, Ben Gibson, Fritz Gottschalk, and Bob Martin.In lieu of flowers and in memory of Melvin, memorial.
