He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Orville and Mary Lucille Samm (Pennington); his wife Anna Persinger; his children, Dawn Rachel Samm (Antonio Larry) of Carrollton and Jeremiah Samm (Kaitlyn) of Sweet Springs, Missouri; his sisters, Karen Simms (Garner) of Marshall, Patty Taulbe of Slater, Norma Long of Carrollton, Connie Bowersock (Frank) of Carrollton and Terri Wright of Chillicothe, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Andrew David DeShazer and Sydni LeAnn DeShazer. He was also cherished by several nieces, and nephews; and numerous great-nieces, and great-nephews.
