He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Reis and Marjorie Metz (Shipp); his wife Jane; his sons, David Keith Metz of Springfield and John Warren Metz (Cheryl) of Leawood, Kansas; his grandchildren, Emma, Audra, Reed, Scott of Springfield, Missouri, Brooke, Alec and Chase of Leawood, Kansas; his brother Standford Keith Metz (Joanna) of St. Charles, Missouri; his niece Jennifer Metz of Wentzville, Missouri; and his cousins, Betty Shrout of Independence and Judy Scott of Olathe, Kansas..
