He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. "Chick" Benson and Lena Mae Benson (Collins); and his siblings, Johnny Benson, Bill Benson and Joyce Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Ava Benson; his children, Greg Benson (Cathy) of Carrollton and Gayla Benson of Kansas City; his grandsons, Wyatt Benson (Alijah) and Cole Benson; and his great grandchild Beckham Benson of Carrollton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bittiker Funeral Home (1201 US-65, Carrollton, MO 64633). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Wakenda Baptist Church.
