He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Stewart and Bertha Stewart; his wife Mildred; his siblings, Gaylon Stewart, Ruth Hensley, Wilma Dolan and Hazel Burnside; and his half-sisters, Marguerite Harbour, Irma Goins, Mildred Dickinson and Ethel Stephenson.
He is survived by: his children, John Stewart of Carrollton and Linda R. Scheible (Wayne) of Richmond, Missouri; his grandchildren, Michael Wayne Scheible (Traci) and Mark Alan Scheible (Tanya); and his great grandchildren, Olivia Jane Scheible and Ava Elizabeth Scheible. He is also survived by several cousins; nieces; and nephews.
