With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gurene Dollins of Carrollton, Missouri, who passed away on June 7, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Barber and Stella Barber (Griffin); her husband James Author Dollins; her daughters, Connie Sue Dollins Casdorph and Stella "Sally" Irene Dollins Nichelson; her granddaughter Sylvia Nichelson Ross; and her great grandchildren, Diana Wakeland, Rossanna Flores, Rolanda Saldana, Mason Dollins and Saylem Martinson.
She is survived by: her children, James Robert Dollins of Hale, Steven Author Dollins of Carrollton, Missouri and Emily Sue Cazzell (James) of Keytesville, Missouri; her sisters, Bonnie Burris, Phyllis Accord and Rita Arnett; and her grandchildren, Brandy, Trina, Timmy, Zach, Candi, Sonny, James, Charity, Jami, Camera, Nelma, Henrietta, Amanda, Bonnie, Christie, Selena, Joseph and Justin. She is also survived by forty-nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Gurene are humbly suggested to family choice.
