We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2021, at the age of 93, Elsie L. Hodson (Carrollton, Missouri), born in Wakenda, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Hodson; her siblings, Maymie Zellers, Gerald "Poodle" Atherton, William "Bill" Atherton, Alfred "Jack" Atherton, Harold "Jake" Atherton and Mary Lou Dawson; and her sons-in-law, David Neal and Craig Davis.
She is survived by: her parents, Lester Atherton and Nellie Atherton (Morehead); her daughters, Lucretia "Crete" Davis of Potlatch and Deborah "Debbie" Bennett of Lexington, Missouri; her grandsons, Clifton Hinson (Amy) of Buda and Neil Hinson of Waverly, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlin, Micaylah, Samuel, Logan, McKenzie and Nolan; her stepgranddaughter Steffani Davis; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Blair, Billie and Bailyn; and her great great grandchild Olivia. She is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins.
