He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Basse and Laura Basse (Peck); and his wife Loretta Basse. He is survived by: his daughter Channa Marie Basse of Sedalia, Missouri; his sister Thyra Bailey of Carrollton, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Dawson Eugene Basse of Carrollton and Cameron Lee Basse of Sedalia, Missouri. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law; several sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
