He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Godden and Mildred Godden (Withem); his son Brian Godden; and his sisters, Marilyn Smith and Elena Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Hughes; his daughter Deborah Mumme of Leshara, Nebraska; his brother Norman Godden (Gene') of Carmel, Indiana; his grandchildren, Brandon Godden, Cassidy Godden, Cierra Mumme, Jovi Mumme and Payton Mumme; and his great grandchildren, Maddison Mumme, Anden Elmore, Jameson Enloe and Reid Rimmer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
