He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Harman (Macoubrie); his sister Mary Lee Harman; his granddaughter Tiffany Harman; his daughter-in-law Vickie Harman; and his brother-in-law Richard Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sons, Alvin Harman, Sr. (Angela) of Carrollton, Jon Harman, Ken Harman (Tessie) of Carrollton and Kevin Harman (Sandy) of Van Alstyne, Texas; and his sister Ruth Grant of Carrollton, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
