He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Mae Pennington (Carr) and Curtis Pennington; his son Rickey Lynn Pennington; and his siblings, Robert Dean Pennington and Clara Belle Bish.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Wolfe (West); his children, Bud Pennington (Sarah Katherine) of Carrollton, Patsy Ann Pennington of St. Joseph, John Wolfe (Shelly) of Colorado Springs, Jeff Wolfe (Stacy) of Hardin and Matthew Wolfe of Hardin, Missouri; and his siblings, Curtis Pennington (Myrna) of Lenexa, Kansas, Mary O'Neal of Bolivar, Nancy Gonzalez (Cesar) of Kansas City and Regina King (Donnie) of Carrollton, Missouri. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
