He is survived by: his daughter Anna Ruth Asbell; his stepchildren, Brent Wagaman and Wendy Rheingans; his wife Dixie Platt; and his great grandchildren, Asher "Weasel" Asbell and Austynn Asbell. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
