He is survived by: his wife Amber Ames of Joplin; his daughter Natalee Ames; his parents, David Ames and Betty Ames of Joplin; his sister Esther Ames (Kurt Vomberg); his mother-in-law Diana Golden of Joplin; and his brother-in-law Jacob Golden (Kimbar). He is also survived by her three sons, one daughter, and one granddaughter.
Shawn was an integral part of the Joplin community for 44 years, and his contributions to Lighting and Locks were nothing short of remarkable.
