He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl "Shorty" Laughlin and Helen Laughlin; his brother Larry Laughlin; and his grandchild Zackary Carr. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Martin of Carl Junction; his children, Cheree Selsor, Terri Carr, Joshua (Ashley Laughlin) and Justin Hobbs; and his grandchildren, Christopher (Katrina Selsor), Mitchell (Lauren Selsor), Lane Selsor, Brant Laughlin, Kynley Laughlin, Paxon Laughlin, Trevor Carr and Caleb Carr. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
