It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe H Maxwell of Carl Junction, Missouri, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Maxwell and Willa Maxwell (Groover); and his brothers, Rex Maxwell and Ray Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Maxwell of Carl Junction; his children, Curtis Maxwell (Diane) of Chesapeake, VA, Kevin Maxwell (Annette) of Neosho, MO and Jodee Baxley (Bryan) of Webb City; his grandchildren, Megan McDaniel, Kali Whipple, Kelsey Maxwell, Dylan Maxwell, Kaleb Maxwell, Brooke Yokley, Taylor Maxwell, Kobe Maxwell and Abbey Baxley; and his siblings-in-law, Joletta Baker-Smith and Craig Hollaway. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joe to the Joplin Golf Foundation for the junior golf program, Tee It Up, or to the Carl Junction Masonic Lodge #549 and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
