He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Walter and Clete Fern Hoover (Parks). He is survived by: his wife Joan E. Darlington; his children, Christina N. Cramer (Harold) of Collierville, TN, James W. Hoover of Webb City, MO and John W. Hoover of Neosho, MO; his stepsons, Dr. Christopher Rupar (Stacey) of Joplin, MO and Ryan J. Rupar (Christa) of Springfield, MO; his sister Frona Hoover of Belton, MO; and his grandchildren, Mikhayla, Lakin Cramer, Kyah, Beckham and Blake Rupar.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude's and/or Crawford County 4-H Association.
