It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don L. Humphrey of Carl Junction, Missouri, born in Clinton, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Ellanora Swisher; and his granddaughter Andrea Jett. He is survived by: his children, Butch Humphrey, Cory Miller, Jeremy Plumberg (Sharon), Stephen Plumberg (Lindsay), April Humphrey, Gretchen Sparks and Theresa Hixson (Scott); and his grandchildren, Isaiah, Dridyn, Abi, Julie, Andrew, Zach, Emily, Tyler, Jacob, Brittany, Patience, Addison, Robert Jeremy, Madalyn, Luke, Cole, Benjamin and Duke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rookies of '79, 3989 Springer Lane, Springfield, Illinois 62711, which helps injured motorcycle racers and their families.
