He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Faye Janice Cowan and Charles Henry Speer Sr.; his wife Marian; his children, Tim (Brenda Speer), Dennis (Janea Speer), Sharon (Joe Osborn), Mary (David Mooney) and Charles Blake Speer; his grandson Lewis Clark; and his brothers, James Speer, Mark Demas and George Demas. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
