It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Marie Wininger of Carl Junction, Missouri, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Shofler and Pauline Shofler (McDermott). She is survived by: her sons, Charles Smith of St. Joseph, Donald Smith of Carl Junction and Steve Smith of Carl Junction; and her siblings, Debra Shofler of Carl Junction, Mary Rogers (Bill) of Pryor, OK, Jack (Belinda) of Alba, Richard of Webb City and Wayne of Webb City. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
