She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Calvin B. Smith; and her brother Omer Twitty. She is survived by: her children, David F. Smith (Nancy) of Olathe, KS, Mark J. Smith (Tina) of Rogers, AR and Peggy R. Maher (Tony) of Joplin, MO.; and her grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Brad Smith (Ashley), Cody Duley (Mike), Caleb Smith (Katie), Seaghan Smith Matthews (Eli), Hannah Maher, Samuel Maher (Brittany), Parker Maher (Alyssa) and Haley Maher (Zach Hall). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
