She was predeceased by: her parent Green Vaughn; her husband C. S.; her son Jerald Lester; her grandson Timothy Lester; and her siblings, Helen, R. B. and James.
She is survived by: her parent Allie Vaughn; her daughter Janet Boyd; and her grandchildren, Gregory Boyd (Missy) of West Columbia, Michael Boyd (Cheryl) of West Columbia and Debbie Sheppard (Jamie) of West Columbia. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
