He was predeceased by: his parents, Hirl Lee and Lora Lee Chilton (Fortune); and his son Lindell Troy Chilton, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Chilton (Overbay); his children, Sherry Horner (Miles) and David Henry Chilton; his sister Lois Faye Norton of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Miles E. Horner (Kim), Matthew Miles Horner (Brooke), David Ryan Chilton (Amy) and Denielle Chilton; his great grandchildren, Adelyn, Caroline Horner, Christopher, Talan, Paizley, Hayzl Horner and Hadleigh Foster; his niece Rachel Norton McBride; and his great-nephew Michael Norton.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Cardwell or the Cardwell Cemetery.
