He was predeceased by: his brothers, Roger Smith, Donnie Smith and Randy Smith; and his stepsiblings, Tony, Olin, Ricky Ridge and Shelby Jean Shultz.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Smith of Paragould Two; his sons, Brian Smith (Gretchen) of Manila and Ryan "Chick" Smith (Annie) of Paragould; and his brother Danny Smith of Paragould. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
