He was predeceased by: his parents, Red Cox and Jewell Cox (Numly); his former wife Millie Ruth Reed; and his son Eddie Harold Cox. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Faye Cox; and his children, John Daniel Cox, Patsy Ruth Miller, Sharon Jewel Wilson, Cathy Jo Mason and Rose Mary Coleman. He is also survived by Two brothers, one sister, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
