He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Colon and Catherine Swopes Colon; and his siblings, Harry (Bernice), Frank (Mary Etta), Wilfred (Louise), James (Lillie Bee), Aubrey (Doris), Jessie Colon Jr. (Lenetta), Mary Giboney (Bill) and Ethel Swift (Frank).
He is survived by: his daughter Benita Williams (Sidney); his grandchildren, Takisha Adams and Dominique Williams; his great grandchildren, Jaylen Adams, Nariyah Williams and Neveah Williams; and his close friend Theo Lattin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
