He is survived by: his parents, Gary Ruiz and Elaine Anderson Ruiz; his siblings, Deborah Kasting (Bill) and Ken Ruiz; and his nieces and nephews, Shannon Thompson (Denny), Todd Rose, Jeremy Ruiz and Meagen Kessler (Jon).
