He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harshaw Sr. and Marie Harshaw (Polack); and his nephew Scott Belcher. He is survived by: his wife Carol Smith; his daughters, Elizabeth Harshaw (David Yung) of St. Louis and Heather Harshaw of St. Louis; his granddaughter Sabine Yung; his cousin Bob Polack (Joy Bell) of Cape Girardeau; his aunt Dorothy Polack of Cape Girardeau; his siblings-in-law, Joy Belcher (Donnie) of Kennet, MO, Jan Corbett of Palos Heights, IL and John Smith (Hope) of Port Ludlow, WA; his niece Julie May (Robert); his nephew Wesley Dumey (Patricia) of Apopka, FL; his great-niece Ashley Holbrook (Kelly); and also, Piper of Sanger, TX and Riven of Kingsport, TN.. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, son-in-law, granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South City Chapel (7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the same location.
