We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2024, at the age of 74, Victoria Sue Boren of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Boren and Virginia Kain Boren; and her brothers, Doug and Lee Boren. She is survived by: her niece Victoria "Tori" Gibson (Ryan) of Cape Girardeau; her nephews, Daniel Boren (Jennifer) of Cape, Lance Boren (Katie) of St. Louis and Bryan Boren (Chanel) of Las Vegas; and her sister-in-law Cathy Boren of Cape. She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.

The family requests that any monetary donations be made in Vicki's name to the Alzheimer's Association or to Southeast Missouri State University. I am not big on regrets or “do-overs,” but in this moment, if I could go back and change one thing, it would be to tell her how much I appreciated her, and how grateful I continue to be for her contribution to my education.
