He was predeceased by: his parents, Linus Bass and Helen Bass; his former wife Mary Jo Ware; his daughter Amy Miller (Dennis); and his brother Robert Bass.
He is survived by: his children, Ben Bass (Alicia) of St Louis, MO, Darren Walters (Kristen) of Overland Park, KS and Kelley Connors (Mike) of Chaffee, MO; and his grandchildren, Erin Kilpatrick (Jeremy) of Birmingham, AL, Matt Bass (Bri) of Atlanta, GA, Kelsey Bird (Saje), Sean Miller of Ogden, UT, Shannon Ryan (Tim) of Las Vegas, NV, Jared, Josh Pipkin of Nashville, TN, Teague Walters of Indianapolis, IN, Kaitlyn, Caden and Megan Walters of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
