He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Joseph; and his siblings, Clavey Mason Matthews (Sonny) and Tamera Wright. He is survived by: his spouse Bev Koehler; his close friend Bev Koehler; his daughter Chelsi Matthews; his brother Leslie Wright; his mother Ellen Stinnett Matthews; and his stepchildren, Sara Carwile and Aaron Laughlin.
The family suggests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
