He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Robinson and Lucy Carter Robinson; and his brothers, Sammie Carter, Alvin Robinson and George Robinson.

He is survived by: his son Jacob Lewis of Kansas City; his siblings, Nehemiah Robinson (Michelle) of Virginia, Ethel Stewart of Cape Girardeau, Ada Jones (Willie) of Cape Girardeau, Fannie Ray (Herman) of Cape Girardeau and Mary Wilson (John) of Elkhart; his nephew Scott; and his niece Cassandra Ayers of Cape Girardeau. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
