He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dobbs and Mary Dobbs (Wade); his daughter Sarah Dobbs; his grandson Clayton Meeks; and his siblings, Ralph Darnell, Raymond Dobbs, Robert Dobbs, Charles Dobbs, James Dobbs and Betty Darnell.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Dobbs of Cape Girardeau, Jacob Dobbs of Wisconsin and Julie Meeks of Sikeston, Missouri; and his siblings, Dwight Dobbs of Oran, Ron Dobbs of Chaffee, Jerry Dobbs of Doniphan, John Dobbs of Wisconsin and Rose Mary Dobbs of Chaffee, Missouri. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
