She was predeceased by: her mother Cynthia Hall; her adoptive father Percy Hall; her husband Freddie L. Slaughter, Sr.; her father Percy Hall; and her siblings, Dollie Farrar, Helen Sides and Jessie Prince.
She is survived by: her siblings, Victoria Whitehead, Beverly Prince, Melissa Prince and Gene Prince. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren, father's side, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. James A.M.E. church.
