It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Eve Stausing of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Stausing; her parents, Calvin Vogelsang and Glennetta Vogelsang; and her parents-in-law, Kathryn and John Roberts.
She is survived by: her sons, Dax Stausing (Elizabeth Montano) of St. Louis, MO and Dane Stausing (Julie) of Scott City, MO; her grandchildren, Xander, Tabor and Zeira Stausing; her brothers, David Vogelsang (Apryl) of Grapevine, TX, Steven Vogelsang of Cape Girardeau, MO and Daniel Vogelsang (Nancy) of Rock Hill, SC; and her sister-in-law Kathy Jo Alderman (Russ) of Osprey, FL. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the grandchildren's education fund (checks payable to Dane Stausing) or the Sam Stausing Memorial Scholarship (checks payable to Union RXI Foundation).
