He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Monroe and Emma Cecil Caulley Jarrell; and his siblings, Wilson Jarrell, Barbara Sutton and Ida Lee Jarrell.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Jarrell of Cape Girardeau; his children, Samuel R. Jarrell II (Cathy), Cheryl Ann McAllister (Mark), Laura Kay Luttrell (Jack) and Janet Louise Cannon (Mike); his sisters, Edra Sutton, Emma Bedwell and Mandi Shaw; his grandchildren, Jacqueline McAllister White (Chris), Corwin Easley (Erin), Margot McAllister Hart (Jeremy) and Daniel Easley (Allison); and his great grandchildren, Jacob Easley, Lena Hart, Jocelyn, Liam White and Oliver Easley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Children's Homes, Inc., Paragould, AR or Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort in Nashville, TN.
