He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy J. Richardson; and his parents, George and Eliza. He is survived by: his children, Ron Richardson (Jeri) of Belleville, Sherry Copeland of Cape Girardeau and Dianna "Dee" Lack of Ballwin; and his sister Rosemary Molt (Calvin). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
