She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bertrand and Thelma Henson Bertrand Jr.; her husband A. V. Gross; her sister Lawanna Eifert; her daughter-in-law Denise Gross; and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Vandeven and Robert Steck.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Gross of Oakville, Missouri, Kevin Gross (Mary) of Cape Girardeau and Kent Gross (Dana) of West Frankfort, Illinois; her grandson Brett Gross (Karie) of Peoria, Illinois; her sons, Scott (Laura) of Waterloo, Illinois and Alex Gross (Samantha) of Jackson; her great grandchildren, Tripp, Aden, Theo, Noelle, Carter, Layla, Nyla, Link and Pieper; and her siblings, Charles Bertrand (Lisa) of Cape Girardeau and Charlene Vandeven of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be given the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 3838 in Cape Girardeau.
