It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Buerck of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Bloomsdale, Missouri, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hoffman, Sr. and Ellen Cissell Hoffman; and her brothers, Paul Hoffman and Virgil Hoffman, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Vicky Hardt (Cliff) of College Grove, Becky Daume (Wayne) of Cape Girardeau, Randy Buerck (Susan) of Cape Girardeau, Christie Morton (Michael) of Austin and Pam Bayer (Dave) of Clearwater, Florida; her grandchildren, Megan Carter (Matt), Heather Douglas (Shane), Bryan Daume, Jennifer Barylski, Eric Daume (Rachael), Daniel Buerck (Chris), Timothy Buerck (Andrea), Carlie Morton, Lance Bayer (Abby) and Beau Bayer; and her close friend Ralph Friga of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Vincent de Paul Church or Chateau Girardeau.
