We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2024, at the age of 93, Merle Gelsheimer of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merle Gelsheimer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gelsheimer and Mora Cain Gelsheimer; and his daughter Jan Slusher. He is survived by: his children, David Gelsheimer (Tara) of Benton, Laura Gant (Russ) of West Plains and Cheryl Cooper of Farmington, Arkansas; and his siblings, Ronald Gelsheimer of Springfield and Trula Shipman of Joplin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crown Hospice.
