Melody touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Simpkins and Mary Baker Simpkins. She is survived by: her sons, Nicholas Barber (Brooke) of Jonesboro, AR, Colby Simpkins of Jackson, MO and Scotti Rankin (Malinda) of Charleston, MO; her sister Pamela Jackovic of Starkville, MS; her grandchildren, Hunter, Ashton, Blakely, Gauge and River; and her close friend Clara Thomas.
