She was predeceased by: her parents, Gurley Forston and Lula Forston (Gardner); and her siblings, Betty Forston, Jerry Forston (Marilyn), Harold Forston (Betty) and Donald Forston (Delores).

She is survived by: her children, Scott Derrington (Sharon) of Cape Girardeau, MO and Sheryl Oleksa (Dave) of Bluffton, SC; and her grandchildren, Matt Derrington (Presley) of Diehlstadt, MO, Seth Derrington, Ethan Derrington of Cape Girardeau, MO, Karl Becker of St. Louis, MO and Sara Becker of Bluffton, SC..
