We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2022, at the age of 90, Maxine Gerlach (Cape Girardeau, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Russell and Leona Kirchhoff McLain; her husband Harold Lee Gerlach; her sons, Rob (Joan) of Round Rock and Terry (Kim) of Cape Girardeau; her grandchildren, Terry Gerlach Jr., Daniel Gerlach (Marcie) of Austin, Texas, Tyler Gerlach (Megan) of Jackson, Brian Gerlach of Houston, Texas, Lori Gerlach of Houston and Travis Gerlach (Veda) of Cape Girardeau; her great grandchildren, Nathan Gerlach, Emma Maxine Gerlach of Austin and Harrison Gerlach of Jackson; her sister Mary Friese (Paul) of Cape Girardeau; and her siblings-in-law, Paul D. and Mary Gerlach of Cape Girardeau. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests memorials to Saxony Lutheran High School or Hanover Lutheran Church.
