We bid farewell to Matthew Poole of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 75. Matthew touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Matthew is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Matthew's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parent Delsie Lee Poole; and his son Donovan Anthony Francis. He is survived by: his son Michael Wayne Francis of San Pedro, California; his siblings, Mark Poole of Cape Girardeau and Rebecca Rook (Bill) of O'Fallon, Illinois; and his grandchild Jesse Francis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
