He was predeceased by: his wife Myrna Powers; his parents, True Powers and Wilma Powers; and his siblings, Lenora Bess, Margie Powers, Doris Swindell, True Victor Powers, Doyle Powers, Roger Powers and David Powers.
He is survived by: his daughter Adrienne Powers (Vaughn) of Ellisville, Missouri; his brothers, James C. Powers, Chester Powers of Advance and Dwight Powers of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and his friends, Jeannie and Scott VanDeVen of Cape Girardeau.
