Marie Nowell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Nowell in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Parsons, Tennessee, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Nowell; her parents, Ollie Hayes and Mamie Hayes; her siblings, Rex Hayes, J. B. Hayes, Jerry Hayes, Danny Hayes, Opal Jefferies, Nadine Hatfield and Judy Griffith; her grandson Michael Allen Silman; and her great grandchildren, Chad Fleweger and Ayven Nolen.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Larry Nowell (Betty) of Portageville, MO, Donnie William Nowell (Delores) of Mt. Olive, IL, Janet Nowell Faulk (Grover) of Portageville, MO, Patricia Nowell Silman of Cape Girardeau, MO, Ricky Lee Nowell of Portageville, MO, Anthony Allen Nowell of Cape Girardeau, MO and Randy Michael Nowell (Donna) of Portageville, MO; her sisters, Emma Lou Adams and Pat Macanufo; and her sister-in-law Cecelia Angel. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a host of many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to C.E.A.R., Center for Estate Administrative Reform, a non-profit seeking to end Fraudulent Guardianships and Probate Abuse.
