He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. Birkman and Lillian G. Huffman Birkman; and his wife Lillian Hill. He is survived by: his daughter Sandy Ortiz (Chuck) of Cape Girardeau, MO; and his grandchildren, Tracy Brooks, Stacy Bates, Maria Hicky and Charlie Ortiz. He is also survived by several Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
