With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Loretta Goodin of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Loretta left this world on December 30, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Moore and Lola Moore; her grandson Josh Goodin; her sister Eleanor Jean Burnett; and her daughter-in-law Tonya Goodin.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Goodin, David Goodin (Pam), Jeff Goodin and Pam Rutherford; and her grandchildren, Sarah Rutherford, Melody Dodd, Scott Goodin, Cortney Goodin, Derek Goodin and Travis Goodin. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Baptist Church (1712 Randol Ave, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Bethany Baptist Church.
