We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, at the age of 69, Linda Sluiter (Cape Girardeau, Missouri) passed away. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Lowell Zimmerman; and her brother Dennis. She is survived by: her mother Jeanie Zimmerman (McCrite); her children, Gerald Sluiter (Nicole) and Denisa Cook (Christopher); and her brother William Zimmerman. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crain Funeral Home - Cape Girardeau (829 North West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Services (829 North West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). The inurnment will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the McCrite Cemetery.
