With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Faye McCoy of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herman and Madgeleene Matilda Kinsey Wood; her spouse Lindell Monroe McCoy; her siblings, Bobby Lee, Edwin Keith Wood and Theresa Gayle Wood; and her great grandchild Hanna.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Daniel McCoy (Alexandria) of Bullhead City, Chrystina Hammond (Jaron) of Mountain Home, Matthew D. McCoy (Ashleighanne) of Anchorage and Michael McCoy of Anchorage, Alaska; her siblings, James Freeman Wood (Trish) of Kirksville, Dannie Ray Wood (Joan) of Sikeston, Aaron Wade Wood (Tina) of Sikeston, Missouri, Brenda Pearson (Marion) of Sikeston and Ramona Jean Fitchpatrick (Markel) of Blodgett, Missouri; her sister-in-law Marva A. Wood of Buckner, Missouri; and her friend Betty Lowery of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
